Det er intentionen at netværket, på non-profit basis, skal være samlende for alle aktiviteter i Danmark indenfor automatisk identifikation og datafangst, og formålet er skabe muligheder og forbedre konkurrence-evnen for både offentlige og private virksomheder i Danmark, gennem anvendelse af AIDC teknologi.
